Eric Smith had an easy shot at him? You've got to be kidding. He had an easy shot at him if it were Carson Palmer back there, or Blaine Gabbert. Smith took an angle that he could take on 30 other qb's. He was never going to get close to Tebow.

While Antonio Cromartie practically got blocked out of the stadium.

In eight years, how many games would you say Ben Roethlisberger won that left you wondering what the hell he was doing for three quarters?

People do lots of dumb things all the time. Doesn't make them any less dumb.

Not that many. He used to have more games like that early in his career. The difference is, I don't remember many people wanting to ignore the first three quarters just because he had one good drive at the end.

I've been told for a couple years that Darrelle Revis is the best cornerback in the NFL. He looked silly grabbing air when Tebow took him on in the last drive.

Boy, I disagree with that. He had the same magical label.

But, I digress. The point isn't that Tebow doesn't suck. The point is that somehow this is working, and I don't know how anyone can't find it enjoyable.

DAMN. Vick came back from being a convicted felonious sociopath to be hailed, last year, as the most exciting player in football. He was adored by and fawned over by millions, but most especially the NFL's broadcast and journalism partners. Nary a bad thing was said about Vick unless it was to be his incredible comeback into mythic perspective.

Now comes Tim Tebow, who lives a publicly moralistic life and has abilities far beyond those of mortal man, yet is treated as if he had some plague.

BTW, he's not close to be the proselytizing figure that Reggie White was (god told me take millions of dollars from Green Bay) or Tony Dungy is made out to be, yet they are beloved.

Get over it. Love The Tebow.

I am enjoying the shit out of this, but as a QB Tebow definitely sucks. Let's not cloud the facts that the defense is the overwhelming reason they won that game. Although I see no reason why you cannot find ways to use Tebow in some offensive sets.

A smart post earlier here noted that Tebow is excelling at one of the primary skills of quarterbacking, error avoidance. Better by far to have 10 or even 20 ugly looking incompletions than one pick-six.
