Anyone else getting a George Blanda vibe out of all this?

FWIW, which is little, I'm not much for the religious right but I have far less problem with Tebow than with the people using him to spread the Jesus. He's never seemed obnoxious about his beliefs at all, just sincere and not self-aggrandizing.

Congrats to Tebow and the Broncos for beating four crummy teams and losing to the only good team they faced in their last five.

Congrats to Aaron Rodgers and the Packers for beating Denver, Atlanta, St Louis, Minnesota and San Deigo in consecutive weeks? Why didn't they schedule the 72 Dolphins, the 85 Bears and 07 Patriots?

This is a good Football Outsiders look at Tebow, and how getting the ball out fairly quickly is the way he's had some success. They tracked every single throw he's made since become the starter.

I wish Tebow's number was 11 so we could remove Alex Smith's name and put Tebow instead.

OK I changed it. I propose furthermore that all NFL weekly threads feature TEBOW!!!!!!!! in the headline.

Is Eric Smith the worst SS in the league? He made Gronkowski look like Mackey and now Tebow mania.

Good stuff DD. Cudos to Fox for not being one of those do it my way coaches and adapting to what Tebow does best.

Watching the game last night it looked like Urban Meyer was calling the plays. The Broncos should make a push to get Percy Harvin.

One thing we should all be able to agree on, if Tebow is living up to his expressed life ideals, he is missing out on the greatest run of poon since at least the glory days of Frank Sinatra.

No argument there. And any other man would regret it.

I think that's right. I think that they knew that the Jets were getting mentally and physically tired. After the first drive, the Jets adjusted and did a great job. Then they broke out the empty backfield on the final drive and the Jets couldn't keep up.
