Patrick Peterson blocked the FG, by the way. He's got to be a frontrunner for defensive rookie of the year, doesn't he? He's not the best cornerback, by any means (makes a lot of rookie mistakes and gets burned a lot), but his big plays on special teams have been eye-popping.

I don't know if Peterson finishes in top five, but the award has to go to Von miller, Alison smith or the guy from washington, Kerrigan? After Thursday night I would say miller is in the lead.

Peterson has been burned a few time IIRC.

Yeah, Peterson can do exciting things, but Miller and Kerrigan are dang good every down.

Haha I just noticed auto correct said Alison -- it's Aldon, dammit!

Agreed. Peterson has made a handful of big plays, mostly on special teams, but he has been extremely disappointing so far at cornerback.

Von Miller has been a beast most of the season.

Agree completely with this, even if I did raise the original argument. He has not been very good, at all, at cornerback. He's almost like Devin Hester 2.0.

Was it still a bad idea to let Stafford play today?

The Jake Locker era has begun for the Titans, as the rook comes in and throws a deep pass for a TD.

Guess the bloom is off that Raheem Morris rose by now. And aren't the Bucs leading the league in blackouts?

    Gotta love Norv Turner.

If you're going to challenge a play, just challenge it. Don't call one of your two timeouts first. Now if your challenge fails you're completely out of timeouts.
