I just texted my friends, asking someone to explain why you wouldn't want to take the lead there. After getting stuffed on 2nd and short. And 3rd and short.

Up until that time, Washington wasn't getting that gashed. Philly had scored 12 stinking points to that point. And I know this sounds touchy-feely, but I can't help but think the defense has a better mindset coming out with a lead, instead of that gigantic let down of whatever that was between Washington's 2nd, 3rd and 4th down plays.

    It was insane.

Since Daniels botched the snap on fourth down, we don’t know what play was going to be run. But if Washington was planning on going for it anyways on fourth down, then why run Robinson in the line twice on second and third down?

I understand running Robinson on second down, but why not try a play-action pass on third down and try to fake the Eagles out? Unless there’s a turnover, the worst that happens is you’re stuck on fourth down anyways with the same distance if the pass is incomplete. If there’s a sack, try the field goal.

    Just poor decision-making there.
