The Vegas axiom "good teams win, great teams cover" held true today for Pittsburgh and New Orleans.

I kept thinking this whole Rice thing to the Browns was a bit from The Onion.
They're really not serious about this, are they?

Well ... if you had an OC and DC with complete autonomy, I think the Xs and Os could be taken care of. She could be a very good motivator, who knows. Probably has a death stare better than half the coaches in the league already. And who's to say a woman couldn't work the officials pretty well?

Call me crazy, but I think there have been worse hires in the history of football. And it's Cleveland, what difference does it really make?

Of course. But four wins in two and a half seasons and she's got Hue Jackson beat.

The Steelers pulled off a hell of a comeback to beat the Jags today. Jacksonville kicked Pittsburgh's ass in the first half and most of the third quarter. Then the Jaguars somehow lost Antonio Brown on a 78-yard touchdown pass. The Steelers scored two touchdowns in the final 2:28, including a one-yard run by Roethlisberger on an RPO with five seconds left for a 20-16 win.

Added bonus that they shut the Jaguars up. Roethlisberger even mentioned how much trash talk he heard from Jacksonville it in the on-field interview after the game.

The Jags have proven all year they can't handle last season's success, now they can't even handle success in a single game. What a waste. But I had them plus-5 so, as Al Michaels might say, they weren't completely worthless.

Sounds like what Herm Edwards set up at Arizona State.

Redskins need to sign a QB. So they’re looking at E.J. Manuel, T.J. Yates and Mark Sanchez and not Colin Kaepernick. #NoCollusion
