It was an all-encompassing observation. Did enjoy the reveal, though.

Cutler's anti-leadership infecting the local newspapers:

    Ouch!

Just saw a story on Bears fans using Twitter to express their displeasure that Cutler blamed the punter for the Packers loss. Of course, they missed that it was an Onion article.

There’s a “real possibility” 49ers LB NaVorro Bowman will not play this season due to torn ACL and MCL he suffered last season, per source.

Since Cutler has been the topic of discussion, here's the Bears' salary cap situation and free agents going into 2015:

As you can see, they are stuck with Cutler next year. If I'm not mistaken, the Bears would still be responsible for the bulk of the guaranteed money if they trade him. If not, I seriously doubt any team will be willing to pay it.

They are also stuck with Jared Allen, who has been a major disappointment, and Tim Jennings, who has regressed. The only good news is they don't have any free agents they must re-sign.

It was just a bad offseason for the Bears, in terms of the contracts they gave to the players they signed, and Emory is likely going to have to stick with a "win now" mindset, but he's going to have to be a lot smarter in structuring deals so they don't come back to bite the team down the road.

Don't forget the big money paid out to LaMarr Houston, who ended his season by blowing out his knee while celebrating the sack of a backup late in a 28-point loss.

Despite arguing on "his side" or whatever, I think it'd be amazing if Cutler had a really horrific game today. Like 4 picks or something. A total meltdown would be way more entertaining than limping back to 4-6 against a bad Vikings team.

Hoping for that as well. This disintegration has been too much fun to watch.

  9. Oh my God, This Bears-jacking of the NFL threads is insufferable.

The minutiae of Jay Cutler and his level of Craptacularity, compared to his salary - and whether or not the Bears are stuck with him - is mind-numbing.

The Yinzers have allowed themselves and their Terrible Towels to be shouted down here by a bunch of brat-stuffing, sweater vesters with discount coupons from Supercuts!

    Jesus.

When do the Steelers kick off? ;D

@SportsCenter 33s Strange But True: 5 non-NFL teams have more wins at Soldier Field in 2014 than the Bears.

Blackhawks, Bayern Munich, New Zealand All-Blacks ... who else?

Cutler gets a 15-yard penalty for something he said to an official, and they are under review right now for a possible Cutler fumble. Bears offense already has four or five penalties.
