    Poor Jay Gruden.

I know someone mentioned on the NFL coaching thread that Gruden could be a surprise firing this year. I tend to agree now.

    I think he'd welcome that.

Nice little read here. One guess as to which team the guy with the "RG3 Has Ebola" T-shirt roots for.

Wow. Steinberg wrote the shit out of that fan-in-the-stands piece. He wrote it well enough to get sued by Snyder.

It was really interesting watching the Bears-Vikings game. There was a lot of both sides of Cutler. Great passes and interceptions that just left you shaking your head.

After the last two games, the Vikings coming into town came at the perfect time for Jay and the Bears.

Good god, I do not know how or why people subject themselves to that. I love the NFL and that sounds like a miserable experience.

Great read. Sub "Jets" for "Redskins" in that story and you have the Jet fan live
    game experience for home games.

I noticed CBS had the Chicago-Minnesota game. Anyone know why? Unbalanced AFC-NFC slate Sunday? Just curious.

They do that quite a bit now. With all the prime-time and flex stuff, it's too hard to keep that old split. New contract allows crossover.

  10. I heard the Bears are working on a Cutler-for-Manning deal with Giants.

Nice work by ESPN with the homoerotic subtexts on the Big Ben/Antonio Brown "You're Just Too Good To Be True" MNF promos. Ben has come a long way since that bathroom in Georgia.

Every time I saw Eli do that shoulder roll after some bad throw I'm thinking he's saying "Yeah that sucked/was a mistake, but I won 2 SBs."
