Actually, I think the Texans have a decent amount of support to be in the Super Bowl.

On the Falcons, you're right, and that includes most everyone in Atlanta as well.

Think we're reaching the point of overkill on instant replay. Case in point: On the Ravens 4th and 29 play, they stop the proceedings of a down the stretch, game in the balance situation for what had to be a good 5 minutes or more to review the spot, then re-set the chains, then measure---all to get the exact same result.

And if you've gotten a problem getting potentially jobbed on a 4th and 29 ball placement, hey, you might want to do something about stopping the opposition before they get to 28 plus yards.

Then, in OT, a Ravens catch that moves the ball into FG range gets reviewed when it's clearly a catch--not even a question.

I've got no problem with stopping the action for really dicey/questionable plays. But, let's not do it for damn key play. Let the refs make the calls and maybe do something to stop your opponent instead of worrying if the 5th replay angle might bring you some reasonable doubt.

And the Steelers cannot get a review of a fumble since it occured one play before the two-minute warning and they were out of timeouts.

The Steelers fumbled and it wasn't reviewed? All turnovers are reviewed automatically.

Browns fumbled but ball carrier was ruled down.

Oh. Well, in that case, fuck the Steelers and their inability to manage the clock. That's a rule going in, and only the dumbest of coaching asshattery leaves a team with no timeouts in that situation.

Contender, possibly. I hope they don't get there. If that happens, I am going to be out some serious coin. So, no.

Not really. They have as many top-flight starters as anybody, but overall, I don't think they match up with the Pats or even the Broncos now that Manning has settled in. Greg Bedard of the Globe, normally a temperate observer, said in his Sunday notes column that Houston should pose no problems on offense or defense for New England. I assume that's not just him talking, but sources as well.

It's Monday, 11/26 at 1:00 PM cst, and the fact that Romeo Crenell is still employed as Head Coach of the 1-10 Kansas City Chiefs is insane.

Who would you get to coach the last five games?
