    Eli's due, isn't he?

This is the kind of game where I would expect Eli to go nuts.

Giants-Packers, with the Packers' offense back to normal and the Giants needing to get their shit together, has shootout written all over it. Should be a great game. The exact opposite of last Sunday night's game.

I don't know if the Packers offense is back to normal, but I agree about it being a shootout.

So you're saying I should take the over, which is 50?

As for the Turkey Day games, it's a good slate on paper.

If the Lions show up in the first half, that game should be competitive. I'm interested to see if the Texans defense plays more like it did against the Bears or more like it did against the Jaguars.

I think Redskins-Lions will be the most entertaining game of the day. I would love to see Griffin and Romo trade big plays for 60 minutes. Although for job-related reasons, a 2 1/2-hour game that includes 100 combined rushes would be cool, too.

I expect the Patriots to start slow while adjusting to the loss of Gronkowski, but I can't see the Jets scoring more than 14-17 points. If Hernandez comes back, Brady still has plenty of weapons to make this one ugly in the second half.

This is their fourth meeting the last three years. First three scores:

    GB 45, NYG 17
    GB 38, NYG 35
    NYG 37, GB 20

When's the last time the Lions have showed up in the first half? Seems like every week, Stafford is like 3 for 12 in the first half, yet he finishes with 24 completions for 300+ yards. I can't see him doing that against Houston.

Redskins have no one to cover Dez Bryant. If he's on your fantasy team, well, that's a good thing.

Well then. Looks like I'll be taking the under.

The Lions tend to overachieve on Thanksgiving, even when they lose... Was that two years ago when they actually put a scare on the Pats?

I love that the game is earlier than the Sunday games. That usually makes my football-crazed in-laws (a good thing) serve Thanksgiving earlier...

It should be interesting. I could see Rodgers picking apart the secondary while also getting manhandled by the D-line.

That's posting fail by me, I just noticed. Thought I was tacking it on to Sonner's comment about the O/U of 50, not the Thanksgiving games.

I do think they get to 50 though.
