Blaine Gabbert's season is over as he undergoes an experimental procedure to have his suck removed.

Unfortunately for the Jaguars' draft hopes, this means they are forced to put their best quarterback on the field.

I don't see this draft producing the kind of quarterbacks that the last one did. I don't see any team trading up for a shot at Geno Smith or Matt Barkley.

You really should be more careful where you go looking for the next ex-Mrs. C. Personally, I'm staying away from all of the people pictured above.

So, a large number of Steelers fans managed to get tickets to one game and that somehow defines everything about Redskins fans for the last 10 years? Um. Ok.

93Devil, nobody said fans wouldn't become more interested or passionate if the team wins more. That is a misrepresentation of what everybody has been trying to tell you on this thread and you should know it.

If you think the Skins fans who watched the Campbell, Ball Coach, Beck, Grossman suck fest were passionate, I am going to disagree.

They might have passion, but people were not acting that way. Many of them could have given two shits about Snyder's Redskins. They loved Cook's Redskins.

You can say they have a passionate fan base, but allowing a visiting team to outnumber your home fans on Monday Night Football takes a lot of the "passion" away for me.

Anytime the Packers or Steelers go on the road they have a lot of fans there... It's not a reflection on the home team's "passion" and to say the visiting fans "outnumbered" the home fans is just not accurate.

Agreed. I'd take Barkley in the top 10, maybe top 5, if I needed a QB. Although the recent history of USC QBs (Leinart, Sanchez, Cassel, etc.) does concern me a little. But I wouldn't mortgage the franchise to trade up to get him, like the Saints did one year for Ricky Williams.

I wouldn't touch Barkley with anything higher than a third round pick

Assuming the injury isn't serious, I would guess Barkley would go in the first 16 picks. I know Geno Smith seems to be the consensus No. 1 at this point, and the recent trend is that the No. 1 QB usually goes first overall, but I wouldn't be surprised to see that trend end this year and have someone like Lotulelei (sp?) go No. 1.

Just because it's more and more unlikely that either coach will be with their respective teams doesn't make Monday night that awful, does it?

    Does it? Oh ... wait ... :D
