    I was always amazed that Peyton Manning had that same limitation post-injury, but he was smart enough to acknowledge it and adapt to it, and remain one of the best in the NFL for two of his three years in Denver before his body gave out for good.

    Pickett and the offense came up with a hell of a response. That was encouraging to see.

    He'd be a perfect fit in Denver with Nathaniel Hackett, Vic Fangio and Vance Joseph constantly fucking up clock management. It's incredible. I've seen better stuff at the high school level here, which is like 45th best in terms of high school coaching/playing.

    I’ve heard the Colts are hiring David Letterman to handle clock management at the end of games as an assistant to the head coach.

    They miss Bobby Wagner — at least the mid to late 2010s version of Bobby Wagner — more than they miss Russ.
