I can't say I disagree with any of that. He has five more games to figure it out, and I think he will.

Right now, Manning is the third-best quarterback to come out of the 2004 draft, and some days I'd even put him fourth behind Losman. Rivers is absolutely the best of that group right now and he's done more than just hand off to Tomlinson.

Roethlisberger has at least proven he can play well, though he's been erratic as hell this year. Given what the Giants traded to get him, Manning is a huge disappointment and that deal could end up haunting New York for a very long time.

    Not with that defense.

That was my first thought, but it is the NFC. Now that Grossman is struggling, there is not a single team in the NFC that should scare anybody.

The Colts, Chargers, Ravens and Patriots are all better than any team in the NFC, and the Chiefs would have a shot to make it through the NFC playoffs, too.

Addai's one of the nicer guys in sports. Good for him (4 TDs).

All I know is that I stayed in Pittsburgh to watch the Steeler game before driving back to school, last fucking time I do that.

Well on the good side for Steeler fans...OK, I guess there wasn't one. Amazing that this is the team that claims to be the defending Superbowl Champs. We have loal high school teams that could do the same hing to them that Baltimore did

I haven't seen the tape yet. Just listening to talk radio (Fox Sports Radio) callers discussing it. The thing with Eli is, when he starts to tank, he hits bottom in a second. One INT becomes 4 in a heartbeat.

All the talk of Griese coming into the game today, Why not Orton? Wasn't he the future of this team?

Sorry dude but the running game was not the problem today. Thirty-four carries for 152 yds by Jones, Benson and McKie (discounting Grossman's two carries). The Jones-Benson tandem is pretty solid.

I feel bad, in a way, for Grossman. He seems to have a pretty good head on his shoulder and you gotta root for anyone who survived playing for dickhead Spurrier (even if it was only two years). And it's not his fault his first three seasons were basically ruined by injury. but he's got to make the Super Bowl in his first full season or else he's going to be considered a failure.

Maybe the easy schedule down the stretch allows him to get back on track.
