    A couple thoughts ...

On Joseph Addai: Watching him play, the one thing that impressed me more than his running was his blocking. He is tremendous at picking up the blitz, something that's hard to find in a rookie.

On the Giants' collapse: Whoever said earlier that it looked like the Giants took a dive wasn't kidding. That fourth-and-10 play in which Kiwanuka had Vince Young in the backfield and just stopped playing looked like exhibit A in a game-fixing trial. I can't remember ever seeing a player lay down like that (except maybe Favre for Strahan's record sack).

On RokSki: Looks like someone's Troll of the Year campaign has kicked into high gear.

Not unless Idaguy was just a sham to dupe chicks into bed.

OK, now I'm really confused. I don't remember posting anywhere about Coach Tiki. Perhaps you've confused me with another sports chick.

As Pallister would kind of say: Go Seahawks!

    I would never say that.

Damnit, what are you doing awake?
Anyway, you would kind of say that.
Just like I would never say: Go WhiteSox, though I would kind of say it by saying Go Yankees!

I planned to be asleep, but two movies kept me up.
Seriously, the Seahawks are not winning the NFC.
The NFC just kinda sucks right now. Someone will get hot. I hope it's the Bears, but as a Chicago sports fan, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Actually, that is the team that is the Super Bowl champs. And aspiring, there is a spell check for these posts. Seems like you could use the help.

I've seen much better Steelers teams go into Baltimore and get their heads handed them. That's what happened in Pittsburgh's only regular-season defeat in 2004. The Steelers looked horrible and got crushed in Baltimore, then won the next 15 in a row.

Of course, that was a much better Steelers team and a Ravens team that wasn't nearly as good as this one.

The Ravens look very good. The defense isn't quite on the level of the Super Bowl unit, but it's not far off, and this offense is much better than that one was. As long as Steve McNair is healthy, the Ravens are right up there with the Colts, Chargers and Patriots as Super Bowl contenders from the AFC.

High school teams? Yeah, right. It was a bad game, but let's not go too far here. The Steelers' offensive line has been terrible much of the season, and the Ravens -- in case you didn't notice this -- tend to play strong, physical defense.

    Sometimes, games like that happen.
