The whole Dallas coaching staff should be fired after this. Meanwhile, the Ford family could go 0-16 TWICE. That’s a hell of an accomplishment

Did the Ford family buy a piece of the Jets when no one was looking? The Lions suck, but they're 4-7 this season.

Hell, I'm blaming the Fords for the 0-14 Buccaneers, too.

Am I crazy to think that if you look at the WFT and squint a little, there is the bare bones of a decent football team there?
Antonio Gibson and Terry McLaurin look like playmakers on offense, and there are a handful of building blocks on defense. They obviously need a good, long-term solution at quarterback, and Daniel Snyder needs to not meddle and screw things up for a while (both tasks are admittedly easier said than done), but they seem like they're at the "We can beat most of the bad teams" stage of development. If they can ever put together one great draft where they nab a franchise QB and three or four other starters it's not hard to see them becoming the team to beat in that wretched division for a few years.

    Seems to be appropriate here.

I suspect you are right... but I also think Jerry would gladly kill a hobo if it gave him a shot at drafting Trevor Lawrence.

I don't think that's crazy. They have some good players. Drafting where they have, it'd be hard not to get some talent. And Rivera, just by being competent, raises everything in the organization up a few notches.

    HanSenSE-
A lot of great stuff passed with Don Banks.

It is hard to convince anyone not alive at the time that 10-6 once didn't even get you in the playoffs in the NFC East.

They're not going to have the top pick, but only three teams have a worse record and the Cowboys have the second-worst point differential in the league.

So... if the Cowboys can offer the Jets Dak Prescott and the number 3 pick plus some other combo of picks, do the Jets do it? I don't know, but they probably should.
