Is there a person here actually comparing John Riggins to Christian McCaffrey?

They're both white, ya see. And all those guys look the same, so...

 

Riggins was a load. Still surprising that he only averaged 3.9 ypc for his career. He only played in one Pro Bowl and that was with the Jets. His 24 rushing TDs in 1983 was a ridiculous amount for that era.

3.9 isn't surprising to me. I'm too young to remember the Jets years (they don't look all that great on John Riggins Stats | Pro-Football-Reference.com ), but in the redskins years, he'd run up the gut for 2 yards a LOT of times.

 

No mention of the five dead hookers, though.
