Why is Houston going all-red tonight? The red tops look OK, but the pants are awful.

No one should be watching this game unless they have a bet on it or have a fantasy football result riding on it.

Those four franchises - and the Cardinals - are awful for reasons entirely internal.

They've all had access to top-flight players via the draft and free agency as well as top-notch coaches.

Given the billions floating around the NFL, if you're trying to be cheap, you deserve to lose. Period. There's not an owner in the league not making money because of the revenue-sharing model.

Al Davis is a lunatic, paranoid and grossly out of touch.
The Ford family has misrun the Lions for years as proven by the franchise being barely mediocre before the Matt Millen Era.
The Brown family has shown unparalleled levels of "frugality" running the Bengals.
Bill Bidwill hasn't done anything right with the Cardinals dating back to the franchise's years in St. Louis.
The Lerners have some clue and seem to be willing to spend. But bad coaching and GM hires have doomed the Browns, Version 2.0.

    What don't you get, TSP?

For starters, he didn't "get" the two posts he responded to above.

Maybe so, OOP. But nothing Ben_Hecht or I said should have shocked TSP.

To read TSP's post, the NFL is going out of its way to keep those teams down. The NFL has its flaws, but the way in which it goes about its parity isn't one of them in this case.

The only reason the game is on here is because Scrubs isn't on WGN for some reason and there's really nothing else on.

It was better than the Colts-Browns game yesterday though.

Is it all right with you if I watched because I'm a Jaguars fan?
