The Lions are on the Road to XVI

And interesting note in one of the CBS graphics: Fisher has been coach for 15 years at Tennessee. During that time, the Lions have had SEVEN coaches.

Calvin Johnson is going to be this generation's Barry Sanders if he doesn't get out of town.

I've never seen a team get a delay penalty coming out of a timeout, which the Lions managed to do today. The badness needs to be seen to be believed. The towheaded halftime performer and his music came pretty close.

  5. Could this very well be the worst professional sports team ever?

Kevin Durant's future former team may beg to differ.

The 1976 Bucs were worse, but the Lions are going to be at the top of many 'worst ever' lists if they pull off the first 0-16 season.

So, LJB, I take it this game has not renewed your faith in the modern NFL.

The 1973 76ers can breathe easy.

It doesn't happen often, but I've seen it happen a couple other times with other teams.

The next game should be just as much of a mismatch. Of course, it would make my day to see Hasslebeck and the 'Hawks upset the Cowboys, just for 10 days' worth of fallout from Valley Ranch.
