Refs also missed a facemask, so what's the point? It goes both ways.

my first comment of the day: if we are headed for vick's eagles vs. his ol' buds in atlanta for the nfc championship, well, that there might be the buildups of all buildups...

perhaps even enough theatre to cleanse the stench of an otherwise blah nfl season. don't you think?

I'm rather enjoying simply sitting back and watching BYH prove with every post what an infantile, thumb-sucking moron he is -- despite the fact that for two weeks he's tried to bait me. Couldn't resist one response just to let him know he's providing me with a laugh or two. To respond any further would be too easy -- like taking his lollipop from him.

No, this isn't a picture of the Jaguars' stadium with 3 minutes left in the game...Fisher has lost all the fans, judging by the empty LP Field...

Makes you wonder if either the Titans or Colts will show up for their game Thursday night. Might wind up being a real stinker.

I hate all of the whining coming out of that locker room lately, but that play is only going to make it louder. No excuse for missing that call with the focus on blows to the head.

That said, the Steelers have to be kicking themselves right now. They double-cover Boldin and both defenders lose him on the touchdown and Hines Ward drops a pass that cost them at least three points just before halftime.

Give Suggs some credit for that stop, though. He made a very smart play to drop off and cover Miller on the play before Ward's drop.

The only positive sign for the Steelers is that Roethlisberger seems to be feeling better as the game goes. I just wonder if he is going to tigthen right back up at halftime.

The Indy Star's Colts story online says the Cowboys have lost only once in the four games since Wade Wilson was fired.

Don't worry. While Beej may be too bitter and overzealous at times, you're still a massive toolbag.

Hondo: the Colts will show. They haven't played well, but they've played hard. Even in the Chargers debacle, there was no point where you thought the team flat-out quit.

Oh fuck, here we go -- "wah, wah, the league is picking on us, they let everyone else hit us with their helmets...."

Well, zag, much as we usually agree on stuff, Collinsworth led the charge on that hit, calling it the definition of a defenseless player.

And echoing holy bull, very good to see him get up and go off on his own power. His head really jerked back on that sucker. The way his arms were sticking up as he lay on the ground, I thought for sure he was out cold.
