I think you are underestimating just how good Martin and Wilson been, though I'd probably vote for Griffin or Luck, too.

Hell of a rookie class either way, though.

He and Alfred Morris are tied with 1,106 yards, third in the NFL. Pretty impressive.

This is the best rookie class (in terms of how they've played in their first year) since ______ ?

No, I'm not. I said Wilson has had a great season. Not sure what more I can say. He's been awesome. Like I said, just bad timing.

When you say no one should get a vote, you are. Just my opinion.

Yeah. Maybe I wasn't clear. I meant no one else should get a vote as the winner. I'm not sure if they vote first, second, and third place. If so, then yeah, I'm sure Wilson will get some votes. But as the winner? No. He shouldn't get a single first-place vote. But that's not a knock on him. And it's not underestimating how good he's been. It's knowing how good he's been, but also realizing he hasn't been nearly as good as RG3 or Luck.

I pull for Wilson as much as anybody on this thread, but it's RGIII and Luck. Wilson should be a solid, solid third, but he is third.

I can see that. I might throw Morris in the discussion for a third-place vote (HOMER ALERT!!!), but I wouldn't argue Wilson.

You're thinking of the Claremont. Jack London Square is pretty nice. Lake Merritt, Dunsmuir House...

but i thought it was decided by about week 6 that j.j. watt, the texans' beast, had already won it! amazing what a front runner the sports media has become... and by sports media i mean espn, whose talking heads and producers must declare someone the best this week or year or in history every freakin' day. no issue ever gets a chance to breath or develop. it's nauseating...

Its the Claremont Hotel in Oakland technically, just on the Berkeley border and its a fantastic property. Sadly, Oakland does not have any other 4 or 5 star hotels in town.

The Oakland Hills are beautiful with great vistas of the Bay (I used to live on the hill in the Berkeley Hills; beautiful you could see Bay Bridge and Golden Gate Bridge.)
