The Packers had just four healthy D-linemen last night and rotated them in two at a time. When they get some of their DL guys healthy they'll be even better. You'll also note that after the Lions' first two possessions, the Packers held them to just two field goals the rest of the way.

The NFC playoffs will be even more of a toss-up if the Bears fall out of the mix. The Bears aren't bad, but they're not going to win it all...

If it's the Falcons, Packers, Niners, Giants, Seahawks and Redskins, I could see any of those teams making the Super Bowl... And of those six, I would rather play the Falcons in Atlanta than host the Giants, Niners, Redskins, Packers and maybe the Seahawks...

Ravens fire Cam Cameron ... I understand he isn't popular, but firing your OC three weeks before the playoffs start? And thinking Jim Caldwell is the answer?

And right after they scored 28 points in a game. I could see not bringing him back. The Ravens are still very inconsistent offensively. Maybe that's all they will ever be with Flacco taking snaps, but some of that is going to fall on the OC.

Isn't Flacco about to be an unrestricted free agent?

49ers-Seahawks flexed to Sunday night, 12/23. That means the 49ers are on NBC two weeks in a row -- they play the Pats this coming Sunday.

I didn't think they were supposed to put a team on two weeks in a row?

Anyway, that 49ers-Seahawks game could very well be for the NFC West title, if the Pats beat the 49ers and the Seahawks win in Buffalo this weekend.

From ESPN Stats: Over the last 7 gms Adrian Peterson has more rush yds (1,101) than Ponder has pass yds (962).

That stat shouldn't happen in any era. But when every QB throws for 300 every other week, it's borderline unfathomable, even with Peterson having a shot at 2,000 yards. Guy's played one year with a real NFL quarterback, 2009 with Favre. Of course that was the year Peterson couldn't hold onto the ball.

As long as it's not the Packers or Bears or Saints. Getting really tired of seeing those teams on Sunday or Monday nights.

I guess the editors at cbssports.com are unfamiliar with the concept of rounding: "Under Caldwell this year, Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco's on pace for one of his best seasons -- he's . . . also on pace to throw 22.15 passing touchdowns and just 11.07 interceptions."

This probably belongs on the journalism topics only board, but apparently John Skipper admitted that ESPN pushed Tebowmania:

Wow, if that's the best game they can come up with for Week 16, it must be a pretty weak schedule... Compare that with Week 15 where there are about 5-6 pretty damn great games...
