Cheer up, champ! The Texans will look snazzy in their letterman jackets when they get on the plane tonight.

They were never going to win this game. And they'll be one and done in January, too.

Yes, it was an honest question. You answered with a bullshit answer and then deleted it.

I asked the honest question because your sig line is an affront to everything that this site is.

This thread is full of trolls tonight. Where is OOP when I need him?

I am OK with them losing a game that doesn't count in exchange for winning a game down the road that does count.

Somebody should buy that and trademark it.

If the Texans are trying to prove they are title contenders -- to other teams they may face down the road but more importantly themselves -- games like tonight and the equally disastrous loss to the Packers absolutely count. A whole he'll of a lot more than a random win or 10 on a Sunday afternoon.

I hear you. I do. I still think they were taking notes for a playoff game that counts. The lose tonight didn't hurt them in the long run.

Only on national TV. National TV doesn't matter until the end.

NFL teams who take notes don't go very far in January. I like the Texans, but they're not winning anything. They're a slightly better version of the Bears. Offense can be stopped against good teams, and the defense is too inconsistent.

I respect what you are saying, YGBFKM.

    And yet I respectfully disagree.

It shall make for interesting January. ;)

Steve Young's brain is gone. Referred to the NFL as the NBA early in the broadcast and then just said the Texans "have the biggest dick in the league."

Disregarding the previous comment, I must say I had the TV on mute 10 minutes into the game.
