I agree. Dude is a beast. A ton of sacks, six fumbles forced, a pick-six. The best all-around linebacker in the game, IMO.
@MileHigh — I agree. They've been dicking around in the first half most of the season. It's just frustrating because they dig themselves an early hole. Losing McGahee was huge.

McGahee certainly has been a big loss, but even before he went down, the first half has been rough sledding all season, but certainly since about the Carolina game, the offense hasn't been firing on all cylinders.

For sure. If killed them in all three losses. If they keep it up, they're toast in the playoffs. They still can pull the No. 2 seed if they can win out and NE loses once, which would be fantastic. Time to rest and get McGahee back for the playoff run.
Obviously they make solid halftime adjustments and they are lights out in the second half, but they need to punch it in and kill their opponents in the first half.

Horseshit call on Champ. Receiver wasn't 5 yards down field.

McGahee can't come back until the AFC Championship Game.

Besides the Patriots game, I somewhat discount the early losses to Atlanta and Houston. Happened in the first month of the season when Manning was just getting his feet wet again after being out for a year. But they're season obviously pivoted for the better in the second half at San Diego, a week after New England. They haven't lost since.

We'll see where they're at in 10 days when they go to Baltimore, where they've never won against the Ravens, including a playoff loss.

Meanwhile, criminy the Raiders are pathetic. I know this has been a recording for a decade, but, well, this never gets old:

Yeah but the good news is the Bengals move up in the second round every week. Right now it looks like they get about the #35 overall pick as the final payment on the Palmer trade.

Atl least Knoshown has shown some life recently. He and Hillman will be key throughout the rest of the season.
The Baltimore game, obviously, is huge. Could decide the No. 2 seed for Denver. I think they get it done and have 10 days to get ready.
I'm so happy what's-his-face isn't in D-Town. Denver would be .500 at best at this point.

Manning should tear the Ravens' secondary apart. The re-animated corpse of Charlie Batch just beat that team.

The glasses-and-moustache look on Miller is hilarious.

Raiders are starting to rival the late 80/early 90s Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the 1990s Cincinnati Bengals for staying inept for an extended period of years. Change coaches, change quarterbacks, change diapers, same results. Going on a decade now.
