The Argos had five players who weighed 300 pounds. Alabama has 15. Alabama also has at least six and possibly nine players who will be playing in the NFL in 12 months, and as many as 30 players who could be playing in the NFL in four years. How many do the Argos have?

They're different games, anyway. And they utilize different types of players. But Tebow can't throw very well and that wouldn't make him a good quarterback in any league.

That said, if I'm Rex Ryan, I tell Mark Sanchez it's been a nice ride, I tell Tebow to shut up and sit over there on the bench and I give McElroy a chance the rest of the way. It's not like the Jets' 2013 starting quarterback is on the roster right now anyway.

CFL offensive lines would not be able to block NFL defensive lines, and NFL offensive lines would dominate CFL defensive lines.

And I think Alabama would do very well in the CFL for the above reasons.

The CFL is also a different game, with more emphasis on passing with the three downs. So CFL teams don't really need as many large linemen to run-block.

College rosters are also much bigger, with 85 scholarships and whatever number of walkons. The CFL has 46 players on their roster, 42 of them active for any single game. And less than half of them can come from other countries.

I would think, if a CFL team could recruit another 40-50 American players, they'd have a better chance against an American college team. As it stands right now, a college team could wear down a CFL team just by sheer numbers.

Not a chance I'm going . The only value to my tickets is the $10 off coupon on the back for Sports Authority. Time
to get rid of the whole crew.

I'm not sure how a college team would do against the CFL, but an NFL team? Even playing with CFL rules, the NFL team would blow them off the field.

Those picks by Sanchez were dreadful. The heave down the right sideline for Edwards was especially bad, the safety came from the OTHER half of the field to make the pick on the balloon he threw.

Even after the 20 yd punt by the Titans, the Jets cannot get it done against the worst D in the league. Totally comical.

Nice job by the Jets personnel staff, Braylon Edwards is your "go-to" receiver, 3 days after he's literally picked up off the street. You couldn't do better than that in developing your roster? Oh yeah, you're paying Sanchez $13M.

That was so beautiful. Gruden notably avoided saying whose fault that is.

That's on Sanchez, though. The ball wasn't on the ground. He had his hands on it in a fairly normal position.

I agree that Sanchez has to handle it, but that was a shitty snap.

Terrible hold by Sanchez. Otherwise, Powell makes that field goal.

I bet Jay Cutler handles that snap clean.

But then takes a head shot from a blitzing linebacker becaue he's got five turnstyles blocking for him.

At least Sanchez didn't fumble after hitting the a** of his lineman.
