If that ever gets old, I want to be dead. I can't live in a world where that isn't funny.

So it begs the question...... what are guys like Mark Sanchez doing starting in the NFL? And being a first-round draft choice, no less?

(Yes, I realize No. 2 answers No. 1..... you draft a guy and you pretty much HAVE to play him for 2-3 years to justify the money spent. But the hell was he drafted that high to begin with?)

I cannot believe you made these preposterously clueless statements, JR.

Last year Tebow took over a floundering 1-3 NFL team, led them to a 7-4 finish and then an upset victory over the Steelers in the playoffs, yet he "wouldn't crack a CFL roster in a million fucking years"? Riiiiight.

In terms of sheer talent, comparing the NFL to CFL to akin to major vs. minor leagues. The American players that go to Canada are the ones who can't crack an NFL roster. NFL players on average are immensely bigger, faster, stronger and simply physically superior. Every single player in that game last night, including Tebow, would have no problem making a CFL roster.

The closer comparison is how the CFL compares the big U.S. college programs. And considering that those major college teams generally have quite a few future NFL players who are athletically beyond what exists on CFL rosters, I'm not sure how favorably the CFL even comes out there.

As preposterous as my comments might be about a top CFL team being able to beat a crappy NFL team with CFL rules, equally preposterous is the notion that a US college team could beat a CFL team.

The CFL may not be as good as I think it is, but it's not as bad as some of you think it is.

And Tim Tebow is a fucking awful QB in any league. And since he can't pass worth shit, he'd be dead meat.

In terms of talent level, the latter is not preposterous at all. College rosters at programs like Alabama are loaded with future NFL players who, in terms of sheer physical and athletic talent, are a level beyond that which exists in the CFL. Again, the Bama players who go to the CFL are the ones weren't that good in college. The good Bama players go on the NFL.

I don't know who would win (especially since I don't even know whose rules were playing this hypothetical game by), BUT if if a team like Alabama took the field against a CFL team, the very fastest and most gifted athletes on the field would be wearing the crimson jerseys, that much I'm sure of.

JR has no personal reason to think the CFL is good.

How many Bama players would end up playing--not just drafted--in the NFL?

We will check back in four years, but I'd put the over/under from all classes of this year's roster at 28.

What's that make Manziel, Montana? Or simply Flutie?

2009 Alabama had on offense or on the sideline ready to play...

OL - Andre Smith, Antoine Caldwell, Mike Johnson, James Carpenter, D.J. Fluker, Chance Warmack, Barrett Jones

Skill positions - Julio Jones, Glen Coffee, John Parker Wilson, Trent Richardson,

DL - Brandon Deaderick, Terrence Cody, Marcell Dareus; Lorenzo Washington

LBs - Dont'a Hightower, Rolando McClain, Nico Johnson, Courtney Upshaw

DBs - Kareem Jackson, Dre Kirkpatrick, Mark Barron, Javier Arenas

I'm sure I am missing some...
