Burris can't throw in the NFL, but can throw in the CFL, so the league obviously mattered there. Indeed, Burris' abysmal of "can't throw" in the NFL was far worse than Tebow's. I've seen tons of dazzling passers against college defenses who suddenly "can't throw" when they face NFL defenses. To suggest that the league doesn't matter is silly, the question of whether a QB can or can't throw is very often determined by the level of D.

Without question, men against very good boys.

For example this year the juniors lost to university of Alberta . They are washed up junior players in their early to mid 20's, with some minor pro experience.

Interesting. I think the best 20-year-old basketball players would beat a good NBA Development League team, though it would be close. But hockey is more physical, and players improve more with age.

I know that the NFL is a superior league.

That's never been an issue but the idea that the CFL is comparable to US college football is nonsensical.

How many CFL game have your actually watched?

Ricky Ray or Anthony Calvillo would decimate a college defense.

As JC pointed out in his hockey reference, it would be a game of men against boys.

I'd love for Tebow (or Thibault as they'd say in Quebec) to come up here.

Like Ricky Williams with his time with the Argos, he'd be a giant flop. Williams had no idea how to play in the CFL.

This is a different league. Speed matters more than size. A slow footed RB, LB or DB in the NFL would be toast up here.

They don't have slow footed lineman, tackles or linebackers. They are as fast and 20 to 30 pounds heavier.

If Ricky Ray or Anthony Calvillo are so good, why aren't they playing in the NFL?

There is no player in the NFL who can't play in the CFL except for guys who can't cross the border for felony convictions.

I've watched quite a few CFL games. It's like playing against prevent defense at a mid-level NCAA football game.

You don't know what you're talking about. Seriously, dozens and dozens of NFL players don't make CFL squads.

And your "felony conviction" statement is irrelevant.

Reading comprehension is clearly not your strong suit. Is English your first language?

Show me where I ever said that those two guys could play in the NFL.
