The Pats didn't sign him. Floyd was claimed on waivers. Assuming NFL waivers work like MLB waivers (priority on claims is based on record), the Steelers didn't want him as much.

Funny how the Pats can make troubled players work, but the Cowboys and their vaunted assistance program cannot.

Good point. Full disclosure, I didn't look into that process or Floyd's past issues very closely before I posted. I was just expressing my surprise that a contender with a glaring need at receiver passed on a guy whose primary issue is off the field.

Bruschi just broke down Sean Lee so beautifully.

Two Star Wars movies have opened since the Browns last won a game.

It was especially bad with the players who had the matching green gloves. Yikes.
Especially in the first half, the Seahawks didn't control the game as much as the Rams didn't execute. Especially the missed TD pass to a wide open receiver.
Hard to know how good the Seahawks are because they've been so inconsistent, but I don't see them putting together a string of good games to go far in the playoffs.

Am I the only one who had no idea there was a game tonight? Jets-Dolphins, woo woo.

And yet, the uniforms still somehow looked better than the last time they tried the neon look.

The Seahawks jerseys reminded me of the WLAF's Orlando Thunder and when I told my buddy that and showed him a pic he was both amazed and sad I could remember that from when I was 10.

Nothing wrong with that. I still remember what quite a few USFL uniforms looked like and that was 30 years ago.
