NFL Week 16 -- Football overload

    I think the Lions, with their pass defense held together with rubber bands and bubble gum, would particularly love not to face the Rams in the playoffs -- especially not in some bizarro world scenario in which they get nipped out by the Vikings for the division title, bumped down into the wild card pool, and end up getting sent on the road to play the Rams.

    Do not disagree at all. But with those games at home, I like Tampa's odds.

    Correct. They have been playing much, much better. As it stands, they might go into an offseason on the most positive note in years.

    Still miles of room for improvement, but they've already come a long way since the end of last season and the first two weeks of this season.
