    Yeah. Unfortunately.

Allen has many good qualities, but he lacks touch. As long as he throws so many pitches WAY outside the strike zone on simple routes, the Bills will not win anything of note.

Yeah, he definitely needs to improve as a passer. He's a great runner, though, and that makes up for it. If it weren't for Lamar Jackson setting the bar insanely high, we might be talking about Allen as the best running QB in the NFL right now (1,100 yards and 17 TDs in his first two seasons).
The bad part is, running like he does -- he runs like an old-school fullback and does not shy away from contact at all -- is not a path to long-term success. They need to get him a couple of weapons so he only has to do that two or three times a game instead of seven or eight.

Jimmy G ... he can play a little.

Agreed, but it's not as if he has no help. Brown is a good deep threat. Beasley is a quality slot receiver. Their backs aren't terrible. Allen's inconsistency still seems like the biggest drawback for that offense.

In playing around with the ESPN Playoff Machine, I think I discovered a way for the Raiders to make it. The Raiders must win out while the Steelers and Titans lose twice and the Evil Irsays win twice. This creates a four-way tie at 8-8 from which the Raiders prevail. The intriguing thing is the Irsays' presence, which is required. If the tie is only a three-team deal, the Titans emerge.

Yeah. Now if only he can find the balance between dump off and taking the sack, he’ll be even better. It’s maddening at times watching him hang on to the ball too long, the total opposite of Carr who gets rid of its ASAP.

Send him some tape of his former teammate. Most of Brady's incompletions yesterday were throwaways and damn good ones.

Actual Adam Schefter story: NFL to consider simplifying coin toss rules. Only the NFL could make heads or tails too complicated. Just eliminate the defer choice. You choose either kick or receive. So Belichick wouldn't like it. Too bad.

The NFL is becoming more and more like a Montessori Day Care
