And things might have gotten better for Chefs fans. Jake Plummer is in the game.

They did lose on a day where they limited the Raiders to 98 yards on offense. They also lost when a penalty forced a 10-second runoff, which negated what could have been a game-winning field goal at Atlanta.

You know what, I'll stop here, before LJB accuses me of a Steelersjack.

And for what it's worth concerning the COY argument, the Saints went 1-3 against the AFC North this season.

Yeah, the Steelers never could get it going, but at least Cleveland is still their bitch. And it's always nice to ruin another team's playoff hopes. Especially the Bungles. The roughing call on Pittsburgh was BS as well.

OK, but one of the All-Pros (whoever wasn't Mawae) was not a perennial guy, just someone who had a good year, and they were replaced by 2 1st rounders, including the #4 pick. Also, the '04 team was better than this team, the league and schedule were tougher.

    Hello, Kansas City.

Broncos have the look of a team intent on pissing away its playoff berth. INT for TD gives Niners a 17-13 lead. Broncos have completed four passes and scored 6 offensive points.

For those that care: Cowboys at Seahawks is Saturday night (8 p.m. ET) and Giants at Eagles is Sunday (4:30 p.m. ET).

Those NFC games are the NFL's version of the Pointsettia Bowl. Big Boy football starts in two weeks.
