That says at least as much (and probably way more) about the Chiefs' WRs as it does about Alex Smith.

Given the choice, I'd watch nothing but Red Zone on Sundays. I would much rather watch that than even games when my favorite team is playing.

Daniel played pretty well against San Diego in Week 17 last year.

Not to defend Josh Gordon because he should have damn well been smarter than this, but it sounds like they suspended him for missing a team meeting so they can delay his UFA status. It's his own fault and will likely cost him some dough since he'll now be a restricted FA because he loses an accrued season, but this decision wasn't made in a vacuum. He wasn't suspended for some egregious indiscretion. The Browns knew that if they could find any excuse to make him miss another game, they'd be better off.

I would have a tiny bit of sympathy for him if he hadn't had part of the NFL's suspension for the entire season overturned as part of a collective bargaining tactic.

He rightly had his suspension reduced. The penalty was ridiculous.

We'll have to gree to disagree. I'm not defending the policy as it was when he was suspended, but that was the policy. His penalty wasn't reduced because it was the right thing to do. It was reduced as a bargaining chip.

So, after saying he needs to take his job more seriously, Manziel throws a party Friday night and Gordon was there.

And then Connor Shaw proves to be the Browns' best rookie quarterback.

Meanwhile the Chiefs are in line to hit the KC/Jax/Cle playoff trifecta.
