Is Ray Rice eligible to make a postseason roster? I'm not sure about NFL rules around playoff rosters.

Absolutely. There was no good reason to take that risk. Punt the ball and make the Bengals drive the length of the field again.

 

I'm not someone who gets too bothered by that stuff, but the NFL thread has been delightful today when I've checked in.

 

Defense just bailed Tomlin out, for the moment.

Has there every been a back-to-back sequence like that where an o-lineman makes a catch and on the next play a WR makes an interception?

I have always thought Matt Ryan got a bit of a bad rap, but he sure Cutlered that one today.

This should be a high point for the Steelers, heading into the playoffs on a four-game winning streak with an impressive offense and a defense that at least looks a little better than it did the first half of the season. The potential loss of Bell puts a damper on that and the short week could end up being a big deal as well.

 

The back to back plays? Ball was tipped at the line on third down, Pouncey caught it. Next play, PIT faked a punt and it was picked by Sanzenbacher.

 

that pretty funny considering Tomlin coaches his players to be cheap and dirty.
