Pickens would have dropped it anyway.

    Steelers with Pickett/Trubisky/Rudolph: 10-7.
    Steelers with Wilson/Fields: 10-7.

If the Stillers score more than 13 points in the playoffs, I'll be surprised. Hell, maybe make that more than 10.

That is very possible, but Wilson has to give him the opportunity there. He also screwed up the previous drive, not seeing the easy throw to Pickens on third down. The Bengals bailed him out of that one when the idiot let a punt bounce off his foot.

That really should have been the perfect ending to a season full of games blown by the Bengals, but the Steelers simply refused to allow it.

Probably. Wilson blew the game there two weeks ago and I have no confidence in him not blowing it again.

I think we'll see more of Washington's starters than you'd think today. A win gets them out of going to Philly next weekend, which is enough incentive to play hard. I could see Daniels sitting after halftime if there's a decent lead. The first Dallas game was all sorts of weird.

Play to win. Avoid Philly. Absolutely. Rams will be vulnerable.

@Roscablo and I have been in the camp for the past month that the Broncos were going to blow it. The defense has been real leaky of late, starting with the Monday nighter against the Browns. They blew it against the Bengals. Payton has been getting too cute with things. They *should* win.

The weather is clearing and it will be a gorgeous winter day here at 5,280 feet. And the throwback look of the field and the uniforms will look awesome for what is essentially a playoff game for the Broncos.

The Chiefs did make it to Denver, didn't they?

From what I read, the airport was only temporarily closed because of rapid icing. I think they got it cleared and reopened pretty quickly.

I'm not 100 percent confident, obviously, but they should win. Being 9-5 and needing just one win the whole time to clinch and finishing off the slide with a home loss to the starterless Chiefs would just be something in my fan world. Looking forward to the throwback day at least. The field will be awesome.

Tennessee wearing some sweet Oilers throwbacks — against the Texans.

Could you imagine the Ravens doing that against the Browns? Yes, they left all the history in Cleveland, but it’s all semantics when you say Jim Brown isn’t the Ravens all-time franchise rushing leader. Adding the chance of throwback uniforms to that mess might have cause Clevelanders to road-trip and tear down Baltimore’s stadium.
