San Diego had played very well at Mile High the few times, and while the Broncos were impressive last week, it was against the Raiders.

This score is going to turn some heads, though. Cutler looks very good.

Tell me more about the Shakes. I'm a straight-up pepperoni guy myself.

Leinart and the Sports Pickle both gave independent confirmations. Coach Pete Carroll refused to comment. The USC sports info dept. had the day off.

There's some dispute, though. Leinart counts hot tub orgies as five, six, or however many conquests. The Elias Sports Bureau considers it one. Big controversy.

Well, that BS pass interference call against the Seahawks puts the 49ers right back in this one. Hawks up 17-13 with 1:42 left in the half.

Well, I'm sold. It's in my column this week.

    Thanks for the tips, fellas.

A clock read zero and the ball was touching the ground. I'm not qualified to see that?

You guys know I'm not one of those whiny Pats fans.

I'm not sure that Pats-Jets isn't uglier than last night's Mississippi State-Auburn slopfest.

    Someone alert Randy Marsh:

Cutler 22 of 30, 236 yards and 3 TDs in the first half.
