He's country as grits. I like the guy, but maybe the Yankee jackasses just don't appreciate his Southern hospitality.

In your defense, you are a Browns fan, which means there are a lot of long days! ;)

The 'C' in Cleveland is for championships.

Exactly, especially with the stupid ass staff that surrounds (and includes) Mangini. They can't adjust to anything on defense and they don't have a clue of about offensive playcalling with a quarterback that can actually throw a forward pass. 1st and goal at the 2 and they run two HB dives and a stretch play designed to lose yardage? Really?

Not to mention having Brett Favre and Bubba Franks on the same team and knowing those two guys are money inside the five. Mangini hasn't got a clue how to win games, he honestly believes that not getting blown out by his master counts as a win. He's one of the most overrated POS coaches in the league's history.

God, that was the least of my concerns.

    But the point stands. :D

Isn't he the guy who hasn't played two years in the same offense since high school or something?

I think that's the problem: He was starting to adapt pretty well under Gibbs then Zorn comes in with a whole new scheme.

    Take him.

He was worse the year after the Super Bowl win than Romeo is right now, and that is a f'ing mouthful.

SjCleveland.com was there ever a point that you thought Romeo was a good coach?

Last night was not the first time I saw that movie.

I really am amazed at the Steelers fans who turned on Cowher after 2006. There were other issues, but that season was ruined the minute Roethlisberger's motorcycle hit that car. He just wasn't right physically all year and he cost them games trying to play through it. If the 2007 version of Roethlisberger showed up in '06, that team would have easily made the playoffs and nobody would have been complaining.

Cowher would be a tremendous choice for the Browns. He will make some choices during games that will make you want to pull your hair out, but his teams win.

All Cowher had to do was bench Roethlisberger for a few weeks early in that season for him to return to form. Batch only started one game that season. One.

For how good Cowher is with almost every other position, his decision making at QB is amazingly bad. [See: Stewart, Kordell]

I don't think he was going to return to form no matter what, though they did rush him back. I had a doctor explain to me just how traumatic some of the injuries he suffered are. There is just no way a human body is going to feel physically right that quickly after that type of accident.

If it happens, I think you will end up regretting wishing for Cowher to end up in Cleveland.

I really do not see him in Cleveland. Carolina? Yes.

I like Tomlin. I think the Steelers have a keeper.
