Andy Reid loves to get cutesy with the lead. Three-point lead with under six minutes remaining and he can't just use one of his three running backs to pound the ball. Well, I guess they learned from this one.

Boston can't lead the pack. Eagles fans booed Santa Claus. That gives Philly the lead.

    A few quick thoughts.
1, Many of those on this site weren't alive when the incident occurred at Franklin Field and to set the situation straight, as a joke, a skinny drunk was in a Santa Claus suit and his friends threw snow balls at him and he subsequently threw some back. The late Howard Cossell mentioned it on a Monday Night Football telecast and from there the city got the reputation of being rough for throwing at Santa. No big deal but people around the country, many of whom have never stepped foot inside the city, have formulated an opinion. And like they say opinions are like noses, everyone has one.
2, Tony Homo is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. His post game interview clearly shows that he has a few rooms for rent.
3, Donovan McNabb continues to do his Linda Lovelace imitation of choking on the big one. Until he finds a way to win big games, he will forever be considered just another quarterback.
4, Right now, I feel that Dallas is more afraid of Philadelphia than Philadelphia is afraid of Dallas. The Cowboys won a game they could've easily loss.
5, Neither team did anything defensively. In fact, there was no defense whatsoever, even in the second half.
6, The Eagles' Brian Dawkins has had a stellar career but he looked awful. He hasn't played well in two games . Sentimentality is one thing but production is another. Andy Reid might be wise to look at someone else.
7, The is just one game. The NFC East is always a dogfight. There are four teams - New York, Philadelphia, Dallas and Washington and all have a chance to win it. This won't be decided until December.

Please, don't give him a promotion.

  7. Um, Santa doesn't exist.

Not about to wade through the thread, but has it been mentioned that Santa was also pelted with snowballs in Philly?

Someone needs to find the ESPN piece on this. They actually found the guy who "helped" Santa (if we have any on the board who still believe ;)) and his recreation of that day is priceless.

I can put together a team of people here at the office and have a better chance to win the division than Washington. It has no chance, zero, or maybe even less than that.

  10. Santa doesn't exist, therefore it didn't happen.

"Following a replay of the Felix Jones kickoff return for a touchdown with audio from the Spanish-language call of the game, Kornheiser said, “I took high-school Spanish, and that either means ‘nobody is going to touch him’ or ‘could you pick up my dry cleaning in the morning.’ "

The NFL's courting of Hispanic fans is nice but was really overblown during the coverage of MNF. Obviously it made since to promote it since the game was in Dallas but there is such a thing as overkill. I believe the NFL went beyond that mark Monday night.
