If he makes it to Canton, they can put that on his bust.

As for the McNabb argument, you can't have it both ways. You can't give him credit for the playoff games he's won, then make excuses for the ones he's lost. He's been an above-average QB during his career who has gotten his team further than it deserved at times, but, ultimately, he has failed to win most of the biggest games he's played in. Plain and simple.

Best thing I can say about Dallas fans is they can boast a
    clearly-distinguishable character. Just can't say it's admirable.

    Nobody said anything about Canton.

In your opinion who are big game QB's?

Good question. Who exactly among the current NFL quarterbacks would you take over McNabb?

Tom Brady and Peyton Manning obviously belong ahead of him on the list, but who else?

Brett Favre has had some big failures in the playoffs, but I still think he has to go ahead of McNabb.

Eli Manning came up big in the playoffs last year, but even mid-way through last season there were legitimate questions about the guy. Does he have the overall resume to be ahead of McNabb?

Romo? Sorry, come back to him when he wins a playoff game.

Roethlisberger? I'd take him ahead of McNabb, primarily because he has had far fewer injuries, with the obvious exception of motorcycle misadventures. But there is definitely room for debate. He has a ring, but he was terrible in the Super Bowl victory over the Seahawks.

Forget Palmer. No way he belongs in a class with McNabb the way he has regressed. He was great when the Bengals had overwhelming talent around him. Now that the line is not as good and they no longer have a stud running back to go with the elite wide receivers, he is going backwards.

Brees has put up numbers, but is he a big-game quarterback?

Am I forgetting anybody that belongs in the discussion?

Rex Grossman? He quarterbacked his team to a Super Bowl. ;D

McNabb doesn't win the big ones consistently. Getting there is half the battle. Winning it is the other half and he can't do it consistently.
He's an outstanding quarterback but he doesn't win meaningful games. Last night's game could've gone either way. He had a FUBAR moment, just like Tony Homo did. Unfortunately, his came late in the game and eventually cost the Eagles a victory.

Apart from Tom Brady, who does win the big ones consistenly?
Tony Homo? Wow, I didn't know this was elementary school.

Montana, Aikman and Bradshaw in my lifetime won the big ones more than once. They also did not lose Super Bowls which Brady is not able to say anymore.

McNabb has been in the league 10 years. He's had a great run and I'm glad to see that he's in better shape than he was last year at this time, but he does what he does at the wrong times. From a production standpoint, I used to think that Andy Reid was holding him back. Now, I don't think so. McNabb makes too many mistakes at crucial points of the game. It's an area he needs to improve upon.
The handoff to Westbrook, they do at the minimum 100 times a week. They never bobble the handoff and McNabb never double clutches the handoff like he did against the Cowboys. All of a sudden, the game is on the line, and he has a FUBAR moment.
It happens but it happens too often.

Over the last six years, McNabb has finished ninth or better in QB rating four times. He's finished ahead of Tom Brady three of those six times (2002, '04, '06).

McNabb hasn't had a decent receiver since Harold Carmichael or Mike Quick.

And you apparrently are included in that unborn group. Try Veterans Stadium. If Howie mentioned it on a MNF boradcast, then it happened about 25-30 years before Franklin was even built.
