It was a foul thing I posted. I knew it when I hit the "Post" button. My loathing got the best of me. For that, I apologize.

If it's any consolation, I was on the radio Tuesday morning raving about what a great MNF game it was to watch.

Speaking of the Cowboys, what do y'all Dallas fans think of Pearlman's new book? Some of the stories in it would make Ron Jeremy blush.

  2. If things go as planned, both teams will be starting their second-stringers, resting for the playoffs.

I trust you're using the word "highlights", advisedly.

    A comedy of errors.

Nothing makes me blush. Mind if I crash on your couch for a few weeks?

I hate to dredge up day-old stuff, but I would guess the Ravens are pleased as punch to have Willis McGahee back for their second game of the season, rather than their third. The value of the bye week is all about timing. In this case, I would argue the timing actually worked in Baltimore's favor, though who knows which players will be dinged up going into Nov. 9.

Excellent point (wow, these posts are getting really long with all the quotes).

I'm too tired to read through all the re-quotes on this thread so I'll just settle the debate once and for all:

Suckiness of Steelers fans = Suckiness of Cowboys fans

    Equal suckiness. End of debate.

    Carry on.

I wouldn't count on McGahee to do too much. He's hasn't been an explosive back since college, and his latest surgery is the latest bump in a road filled with too many knee injuries. I don't see him being a viable running back for much longer.

He's also apparently fat and lazy.

Not the way to go thru life in the NFL, son.

When he was in Buffalo, we loved to see him break a long touchdown run. Hated to see him upchucking on the sideline shortly thereafter, before taking the rest of the quarter off. When Baltimore came to town last season, we saw that nothing had changed -- he broke loose for a 46-yard score early in the third quarter, then was mostly useless (4 carries - 2 yards) for the rest of the game. And when the Ravens had second-and-one at midfield on their final drive, WMcG was on the sideline watching Kyle Boller throw three straight incompletions to end the game.

Yup, that was the Willis we remembered.
