Thank the lord, the Chiefs won't finish the season winless. It's still a band-aid on a bleeder though.

Look at Warner's numbers: 40 of 57 for 472, and still lost by 3 TDs.

Donkeys as a whole? Yes, especially the defense. It's like watching the Rams during the Mike Martz Era.

Shanahan? Yes. Overrated, given the keys to the kingdom and Pat Bowlen isn't smart enough to maintain a professional relationship. In other words, barring something REALLY strange, Shanahan won't be disciplined in any way, shape or form.

    Jay Cutler? Real deal. Seriously.

I wonder how many people got fucked by the Broncos in a suicide pool.

The Chiefs are god-awful, but I figured the Broncos' lack of defense was due to catch up to them.

Poor Ed Hochuli is being questioned for a late hit call on Julius Peppers that wiped out an INT return for a TD by Richard Marshall.

It didn't cost the Panthers, obviously. Atlanta tried to emulate Minnesota's defensive strategy last week. But the Falcons don't have the Vikings' personnel on that side of the ball, which is why Jake Delhomme tore them apart. Moose isn't done (8-147-TD) - far from it - and Ritalin Child pieced together a pretty decent game, though I hope he learned his lesson almost hot-dogging too soon before crossing the goal line.

Both offensive tackles were hurt, though. Jordan Gross is Carolina's most consistent lineman, but the Panthers can move Travelle Wharton out there and Geoff Hangartner to guard. But losing Jeff Otah also could make for a thin, thin line.

In a couple years, the AFC West could be the pre-eminent QB division. Cutler, Rivers, if Russell develops...

Cutler made more good throws than bad today. But the two that were picked were bloody awful decisions.

Look at his sacks, interceptions and fumbles, too.
