Tiki Barber proves the Ewing theory. Giants are 18-6 since he retired, including the Super Bowl.

I will say this. I've been wrong about the Giants this year. They're proving, for now at least, that they were the best team in the league last year. I thought they were overrated last year and I thought they were this year, but so far they've been anything but.

It's hard to call a team that wins the super bowl overrated.

Especially a team that won in the playoffs AT Dallas and AT Green Bay and beat the Best regular season team in 34 years. How can they be over rated when they were the underdogs in 4 straight playoff games, yet won them all.

No it's not. I think the Steelers were vastly overrated in winning Super Bowl XL. A team gets hot, they can win it all in the playoffs. I'm not backing down from that statement, nor the Giants statement.

Yes, they won AT dallas and AT Green Bay. Yes, they beat a vastly superior yet vastly overconfident Patriots team, and for that I'll give them credit. They did what they had to do and they got the job done. But, do I think they were the BEST team in the NFL last year, despite winning the title. hell no. And no, I don't think Dallas was either.

I don't think the NFL is letting him do it. Then again, I don't watch many Bengals games.

All I get are Cowboys games ... :D

To be the best you've got to beat the best, and the Giants did that when it mattered last season. Despite my handle I'm very anti-Giants and I had to give them props (still do). To say a team that was an underdog in three straight postseason games is overrated doesn't make sense. If anything they were underrated. Until they won it all.

You kind of proved my point. They were the underdogs in all of their games. Yet they're the defending champs now. They were obviously not the best team going into any of those games and barring some stupid gameplanning by Dallas and a stupid throw by Favre, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

TV didn't catch it, but radio sideline reporter said T.O. was crying on the sideline after his TD catch.

After the game he didn't take questions, just read a statement about God and glory and left.
