Umm, getting taken to OT by winless Cincy is beating the shit out of everyone?

The same Cincy team that almost beat Dallas today?

Good 'nuff. Guess I'll hold judgment until their last 10 games: five division games (including all three on the road), at pittsburgh, at arizona, at minnesota, carolina & baltimore at home. no simpletons there.

All you try to do in the NFL is win two of every three games for the first 12 you play. Then you look at how healthy you are for the post season run.

Too soon to really have a good read on any team, but it is sure fun trying to figure them out anyway.

There really isn't a BEST team in the league this year. There are some very bad ones. But the top 10 or so could all beat each other. Hell I think the Eagles at 2-3 are better than some of the teams with winning records.

Another thing to consider, and Collinsworth pointed it out tonight, is in general we tend to underrate teams with great defenses and pedestrian offenses. At least until after the season is over.

Almost beating anyone would require you driving with a chance to win the game. That didn't happen. Therefore Cincy did not almost beat Dallas. They ALMOST beat the Giants.

The Giants and Titans are 1 and 1A right now.

    Dallas and Washington are next.

Then you have teams like Carolina and Denver that might take the next step this year.

On the next level, you have first-place teams like the Bears, Steelers, Cardinals and Bills, all of whom can beat anyone on their best day but have serious flaws from week to week.

So what was Harrison expected to do on that play?

    Horrible call.

Hopefully Ben can get back that TD he gifted Jax.

These refs are placing themselves on camera too much.

That was a Jax coach bitching out Washington.
