Same here. Ok, so he shouldn't hold the ball out to somebody on the Jacksonville sideline. But an official should look like he is enforcing a rule, not pushing a player he is pissed at, when he makes a call.

I'm not saying it was the wrong call. There were calls tonight that were much worse. But that was unprofessional.

    I missed it. What happened?

Pretty sure after the Super Bowl a couple years ago, Steeler fans should never complain about officiating again. Especially after a win, which is stupid regardless of whether a recent Super Bowl may or may not have been decided in your favor by lopsided officiating.

Washington of Pittsburgh catches a pass near the sideline. A Jacksonville assistant coach or water boy or somebody in a polo shirt is standing near the play waving "incomplete." Washington gets up, holds the ball out as if to say "No, I caught it" and then gives it to an official marking the play.

Second official comes in, throws flag. Goes to white hat and angrily makes the unsportsmanlike penalty, while pointing and yelling.

Oh, no doubt. Gutsy week for the Steelers, winning that physical game with the Ravens, then winning at Jacksonville on a short week. I'm glad they got the bye next week, they sure do need it.

I think I predicted the Giants wouldn't make the playoffs. I'm way off base. They're killing right now. Eli has become a bona fide stud.

Yes, 44-6 against a depleted Seahawks team is just that. These aren't the Super Bowl Seahawks, not even close. But the Giants are humping the shit out of everybody.

Like I said earlier, though, I can't wait for the rematch against the Skins.

Goldeaston, when the call was made, the game was very much in doubt. Even now, it is worth pointing out that it was a badly officiated game. Not badly in favor of anybody (though the personal foul call on Harrison was horrendous). Just bad. I thought both taunting calls in the game were shaky, but the one on Jacksonville was the worst of the two.

As somebody suggested earlier, the refs made themselves too big a part of this game.

Now please don't try to tell me what I can or cannot post. I don't listen to stuff like that from people I know and respect on this board. I don't even know who the heck you are.

Steelers-Titans is gonna be a great game. I can't stand the Steelers, but teams don't get much tougher. Steelers play the Giants, Cowboys, Skins, Colts, Chargers and Pats still too. Is every game on primetime for them this year?

Give me a fucking break. Did you even watch the same game I did last week?

Game plan or not, the Redskins still beat an excellent Dallas team AT Texas Stadium. They controlled the clock by a full 17 minutes more than Dallas did. They pay the Skins too, you know.

Whatever deflects the blame from Romo. I heard he was changing plays at the line to get the ball to TO.

Not that anyone in the secondary acquitted themselves well, but the Bills are missing a pass rush more than they're missing McGee. When he wasn't burning them by hitting the quick slants, Warner had all kinds of time to sit in the pocket and pick apart that zone D.

And it was much uglier in person. Trust me on this. Good thing we still had some beer left back at the hotel ...
