ESPN has the cheesey Mayne Event on now, with Kenny Mayne.

It's about Usain Bolt trying to make the NFL.

Bolt is exactly what his sport needs. More ESPN goofballery is exactly what the NFL doesn't need.

Strahan gives Owens some tough love. I'm liking Strahan.

Was there ever any doubt that he wouldn't be pretty good at this gig, though? He seemed to always be a straight shooter when he played. I just hope he sticks with it.

Apparently Matt Schaub has the queasy stomach. He's too sick to start today. Rosenfels in!

Wow. I missed who said it, because I'm working on something at my desk, but one of the former players/analysts said "They have good drugs in Green Bay" when talking about Rogers playing today. Probably not a good thing to say given Favre's history with pain killers.

I love that there's a guy named "Sage" playing QB in the NFL. And he's not half bad.

Bears looking pretty good in Detroit. 10-0 late in the first half.

Lions looking like absolute dogshit as usual.

Turns out Millen wasn't the whole problem -- the incompetent worthless coaching staff and players are. In other words, anybody and everybody ever hired or acquired by Millen.

Speaking of incompetent and worthless, Carolina outgained KC something to the tune of 290-29 in the first half.

I knew the win over Denver was an abherration... but this isn't improvement. It's fucking JV football.

Then you play to win the JV game!

Ridiculous. Every Baltimore Ravens' game turns into a testosterone-filled brawl. It's the only football they know how to play.
