How do you not go for 2 here?

You and I have fought on this for years here, but on this one, I agree.

Especially if you miss, you're doing an onside kick in the rain. Don't give the prima donna the ball/chance to beat you.

Buck and Aikman didn't hardly mention it. Unreal. Don't care that the Chiefs are now punting.

Bucs telegraphed their intentions by calling their final time out with the ball on the 1 and ~ 33 seconds left.
I have always wondered what most coaches consider the time threshold on that call.

Never got the ball back. Got what they deserved.

Reminded of covering a Broncos-Raiders MNF game sometime in the mid-90s. Raiders ahead by less than a TD late and punted, and the whole Oakland side of the press box groaned, because they were giving the ball to Elway late and the Raiders were going to lose. And that's exactly what happened.

As a Chiefs fan, I expected them to go for 2 and was surprised and happy they didn’t. Because I knew what was coming next. If you give Mahomes and K.C. a chance, they’re gonna step on your throat, and the Bucs gave them that chance.

Hopkins was a very good addition and one they needed. It was also good to get Kelce involved early and often.

Looking at the schedule, at the Bills and Steelers would seem to be the Chiefs toughest remaining games. They also have the Panthers, Browns and Titans left, two against the Donkeys, and one each at home vs the Raiders and Chargers. I could see them losing three or even four if you want to squint, but they already beat the Ravens and Bengals, so any team wanting home field in the AFC has a tall order,

Threepeat? Unlikely. The Lions (!) and Vikings are legit, but I know who I want at QB against them.

I’m excited to see it all play out.
