The arrival of OT in Seattle compels the mention of one odd my favorite facts: The Patriots have never played a tie game. Neither have the Seahawks.

    You're right. They can't. Brutal.

I have no idea what Seattle is doing.

even if they pick up this first down, there’s no guarantee they’re scoring a touchdown. And that puts them right where they are if they didn’t go for it with the Rams needing a field goal to tie or touchdown to win. Now, all the Rams have to do is kick a field goal.

    Stafford was great.

    WTF Seattle.

Seahawks had nearly 100 yards in penalties and three interceptions, one of which was returned for a TD.

But they still had a chance to steal the game if they can pick up one yard on two running plays. Instead they went backward. Brutal indeed.

Outside of a Daniels injury, anything less than 13 wins would almost seem like a dissapointment

You play to win. A field goal was not going to win the game. The decision was sound, the execution wasn’t.

Going for it and making it does more than keep alive a drive in hopes of scoring a TD and exploiting one of the worst rules in sports; it means two more minutes taken off the clock if you have to kick a field goal. Definitely the right call.

Exactly. Stafford was at minimum getting them in field goal range. To me, it’s a no brainer. If you can’t get a yard when you have 2 chances, you deserve to lose.
