NFL Week 9: Calling Out Cam

    I hadn't read that, but it doesn't surprise me. The game plan was extremely conservative. I assumed that was to take some pressure off Roethlisberger in his first game back and perhaps it also took their problems at wide receiver into account. But it was pretty clear they weren't running the normal offense given that they ran the ball twice on third downs of at least five yards.
    The problem is that was a lousy approach to take against the Ravens, who are very tough against the run, but more vulnerable in the secondary. It also made it tougher for Roethlisberger to get into rhythm.
    The problem with such an approach is it puts you one big play from being in trouble and the Ravens got that play with the blocked punt.
