I'm not saying Vick is the best passer. I'm saying, with good pass protection and no dropped balls from receivers, he's the best QB in the NFL because of the speed.

Ah, sweet justice. Brady picked off at the 3...

I'm a 17 year old fanboy. Sue me.

But what I said about Vick was the truth.

Score another point for the WWF, I mean, NFL. I was waiting for them to order the Colts to play with 10 defenders for the rest of the half.

    What a sham.

No, he's not. At some point, he has to learn to stand in the pocket, wait for his receivers to get open and, as a result, occasionally take a hit. That's a crucial part of playing the QB position, but he's afraid of getting hit.

Instead, he tucks and runs. The best way to beat the Falcons is still to cut off his running lanes, because he's just not good at actually standing in the pocket and playing QB.

It's great that Vick's afleet of foot. But foot speed alone doesn't make Vick the best quarterback in the NFL. Vick's speed makes him a multi-dimensional threat, to be sure, but he still has to become a better passer.

And your argument doesn't make a lick of sense. You can make that statement about any QB. If Chad Pennington had real offensive lines, WRs who didn't drop passes and anyone not named Herm Edwards as head coach, he'd be the best QB in the league. If Tom Brady had a No. 1 receiver, he'd throw for 4,000 yards a season. If Peyton Manning had an O.C. who would tell him to STFU every once in awhile, maybe he wouldn't be choking fraud. Is any of this true? No. It's all conjuncture.

With good pass protection and no dropped balls from receivers, Vick wouldn't need to use his speed.

Wow. Another Vick thread. This topic has killed more horses than a weekend at Churchill Downs. Christ fucking almighty, is there nothing else to talk about? Nothing?

I refuse to talk Vick tonight. I would rather talk about Manning, who on the first play of the second half finds Harrison for 36 yards. He's torn the Patriots apart all night.

Yeah, he would. If there was good pass protection and no dropped balls, the defense shifts attention to the passing game. When that happens, Vick tears them up with his feet. This makes him unstoppable.

While Madden has been fellating Brady all night.

And Chuck, please stop. We get it. You're a Vick fanboy. But your last post just shows your stupidity.
