A shoe horn? Does Aikman work at a Kinney Shoes in 1983?

    I don't think that's gonna work, either.

Jared Allen after Darnold’s long run: “That’s better than him throwing. That’s the longest completion he’s had all day.”

Watching Darnold's reactions tonight had me flashing back to some noted movie characters.
To be fair, he looked thoroughly unprepared for the game, like he was being asked to read Japanese for the first time. Didn't recognize blitzes, didn't call audibles to check into safer plays, made bad throws, held the ball for too long. And the Vikings defense looked shaky as well.

My five-year old son just found our shoehorn in a closet this weekend and I had to explain what it was.

“Back before Sketchers slip-ins like Grandma and Grandpa wear…”

I'm trying to think of when a team that won 14 games had this terrible of a two-game finish. Might as well have gone 6-11.

You realize it's just Darnold right? Not Darnold and Justin Jefferson.

Is Jefferson still on the Vikings? Haven’t seen him out there tonight.

“You know, by finishing in the top 15 at the Open you qualified to be in it next year.”
