    I can't think of anyone who has proven both sides of the coin true in such a rapid fashion as Darnold. Could he have a really good breakout season after recovering a bit from the Jets debacle and spending some time watching from the sideline with QB guru Kyle Shanahan? Absolutely! Is he a guy just good enough to not be good enough? Also absolutely! Back in the day (you know, the '90s), he might have been able to pull a Chris Chandler or Vinny Testaverde and help a team go deep into the playoffs or even reach the Super bowl. Not happening in this era, but he can still become an Immaculate Grid cheat code by remaining gainfully employed as a temp well into his 30s or even 40s.
