    I'm not sure, but they better figure it out before Sunday. I'm not so sure the Niners give up touchdowns quite so easily.

    I think as long as they're free agents you can sign whoever you want. I remember the Eagles pulling a tight end off the street right before the Super Bowl against the Patriots a few years ago. Their starter got hurt and they brought back a guy who had played for them the year before but was working construction until he got the call after the NFC championship game.
