Looks like fans in OKC are going to get some RNH. Thoughts, Beef?

Can you translate that into English? :)

OKC = Oklahoma City, home of the Oilers' AHL affiliate

RNH = Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, young player with some potential.

So I think what he/she means is Ryan Nugent-Hopkins will play in Oklahoma City while the NHL figures out the CBA mess.

Yes, this is the correct translation.

    SOME potential? ;D
EDIT: I don't know why Mark's post has come up back-to-back, other than I previewed mine so I could insert the damn grin. ;D

Thank you. I know who Nugent-Hopkins is but I was confused with all the initials

Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

Bettman and/or the owners are idiots. Get a deal done. They are delusional thinking game will come back just like last time. Football hoops and baseball are getting longer seasons.

    I know Fehr>>> Bettman

Anyone heard if a major cable/satellite outlet will be airing AHL games to fill the void?

Suck it, Bettman! Way to screw things up. Time will tell if you are a bigger moron than David Stern.

Stern's no moron, only the best commissioner in the history of professional sports.

I'm fine with it. They sent like 26 guys or something down to OKC, I think Eberle was in the group as well. No Hall though who is still recovering from off-season surgery. I'd rather have them in the AHL as a group, still under control of the Oilers than in some far flung half assed league like the KHL. Plus they stay together and continue to grow together. They're all still on their initial deals (Eberle signed an extension so he still has one year left on his first deal).

A lot of teams did the same thing, Carolina sent 20 some odd players down to their affiliate including Skinner.

Will definitely be some exciting hockey this year.

My man Cody Hodgson was among the Sabres sent to Rochester. Leafs sent a bunch of guy to the AHL including Nazim Kadri.
